Our favourite thing is achieving more together. This week we have not one, but two wonderful stories about our partners.
Experian Bulgaria has placed an order for branded T-shirts for its staff, which are being printed at the Iris Centre in Varna, and the proceeds will fund biofeedback, neurofeedback and sensory therapy for a total of 13 children! We are incredibly grateful to them for their trust and support 🙏
We’ve managed to organise mentoring support for the Lesnovo Family-Based Care Centre through the wonderful ‘Give Time’ Foundation, and regular visits there will begin on 26 September (Saturday). There is nothing more valuable for children than the friendship, mentoring and support of a significant adult. If you’d like to get involved, you can sign up here 👉 https://www.podarivreme.org/trips
Yesterday we also had a friendly get-together, where we had a bit of a laugh, and as always it was both heart-warming and full of laughter through tears, and moments of “oh dear, I’ll have to think long and hard about that before I answer”. Just so you know, if the war between the US and Iran were to end today, it might be because one of us wished to swap places with Trump for 24 hours to end the war, introduce paid holiday, long-term paid maternity leave, free healthcare and who knows what else in the States. Besides, we want you to know that cooking is a perfectly valid answer to the question “If there were a zombie apocalypse, which of your skills would be most useful?”, because what would people who rely on restaurants and food deliveries do, eh?
