Financial statements are due in September, and we’ve decided to take stock by sharing them with you.
We registered Odd Minds Foundation on 25 August 2025. By the end of the year, just over 4,700 BGN had passed through our account. Almost all of the funds went to support the Iris Centre in Varna and the children in their care.
We made two visits to the children at the Lesnovo Family-Style Accommodation Centre, one of which was a Christmas party we organised for them, with catering provided by Sladko i Soleno and presents purchased by staff at OLX Group Bulgaria.
We donated the cost of renovating the garden at the Iris Centre in Varna. Through the ‘Pavel Andreev’ Foundation, we raised most of the funds, added a further 1,000 BGN, and in October 2025, 2,757 BGN was sent to Iris.
We then began to develop the printing business at the Iris Centre. We bought a heat press and started offering to print branded T-shirts for businesses for friends and acquaintances. By the end of 2025, we had fulfilled two orders for T-shirts.
We also sold cookery books. We paid the centre 1,232 BGN for books sold via the website and in person. This money goes towards additional therapies for the children.
We ended the year with 39.63 BGN in the account. It sounds worrying, but it means that nothing has been left idle 🙂
The official reports are available at oddminds.org → https://oddminds.org/finansovi-otcheti/. Everything there is rounded to the nearest thousand leva, so they look a bit like binary code.
We’d like to thank everyone who donated, bought a T-shirt or simply shared the word.
